and the store hasn't even opened. This is not a good sign.
My only experience with the outside world has been the family of five children who pounded on the window while their parent said nothing. It is true that I do not have five children (for good reason) and that I know with children it is important to choose your battles, but respect for other's property seems like a value worth enforcing. It would have taken little more than 'Please don't do that.'
I am now going to remember that the parent has probably had many stellar parenting moments and that perhaps he too was feeling a bit depressed today.
