of being asked where the horse (fairy, dragon, cat) books are.
This is a question usually asked by 4 year olds.
That should make it ok.
But I also hear parents struggle to answer this question as if the ordering of books is vastly different from one venue to next; as if the simple answer is not "You just need to look, honey. There isn't usually a separate 'horse' section."
I wonder if all the other bookstores have children's books arranged by subject?

I don't want to subvert this blog by being positive but....
ReplyDeleteIt is true there are many a lazy patron or perhaps ignorant is the better descriptive. But there a people who do enjoy searching and looking , here and in general. Not every one needs to have their needs catered to. Yet there seems a lot that do.
The blog is just 'Bookstore Notes.' They don't all have to be negative ....
