at least he wasn't repetitive.
I have had plenty of paranoids and what ever the polite word for crazies is to listen to and to humor. Vampires for example have been spoken about at me with earnest. I have had someone call to ask who to call to write their story about how the police are trying to kill him. Another seeming conspiracy enthusiast was just in asking about book(s) that tell about tactics the government use to "get at you." The example used was, for example, breaking into ones house and moving furniture around. We spoke about the surveillance state and psy-ops. In the end I said I could not think of any books to fit the bill and he got, amongst others, 1984 for fodder. My whole point is that he did not have that crazy manic energy I usually find in these cases. I am not saying he wasn't to one side or the other of the bell curve but he was generally reasonable about his belief and worry.
