Temptation
It is a fair query to be sure
but I've grown a little weary
for what else would be on any floor
of our little used book store
Feel free to descend and look
It is hard to stifle the sigh
For what should I reply?
When that question again it rears
What is down stairs?
I am tempted more and more
to answer glibly, "Books".
